去年在大聯盟出賽37場的印地安人隊旅美投手李振昌，昨獲徵召重返大聯盟。他已經前往主場克里夫蘭向球隊報到，最快今對水手隊就會投出本季在大聯盟的第1球。在道奇3A連6場無失分的曹錦輝也正等待重回大聯盟。
李振昌透過所屬經紀公司展逸行銷表示，這次再上大聯盟會抱著順其自然的平常心去投每一場比賽，不會再像季初一樣得失心太重。
李振昌過去兩年頻繁上下大、小聯盟，而上季有所突破，出賽37場為大聯盟台灣球員單季出賽數史上第2，僅次於郭泓志2010年於道奇的56場，這還是他3度上下大聯盟所創出的成績。
然而他在今年春訓沒投出應有的實力，開季由小聯盟3A出發，印地安人總教練法蘭柯納當時認為，下放李振昌的原因是他「自信不足」。
李振昌昨日表示，開季自己投不好的原因是得失心太重，最近就「想得開」了。投球放得開，讓他最近在3A連5場0失分，而讓自己等到了重返大聯盟的「那通電話」。
總計李振昌本季在3A累積1勝1敗、1救援成功、自責分率2.35，特別是他的三振能力有所發揮，23局投出29次三振。
法蘭柯納打從前年7月欽點昌仔首度上大聯盟開始，就始終相信這位「澎湖囝仔」擁有宰制力與未來性，只待琢磨，他希望李振昌能「更相信自己」。
